Sorrelpaw purred and went off again. She pounced on a lizard and remembered that that wouldn't count, so she left it there. She started to walk away when she heard something behind her. See looked around and saw a snake. She ran after it but it went into the bushes before she can get it.

He padded slowly behind her, silently. His speckled gold eyes followed her every movement, curious. Will she dwell on it? There isn't too much time and that Sorrelpaw is a good mouser.

She shok her head and lept on another duck and snaped its neck. She burreyd the bloody body. She sented again and a squirll ran out, she sprinted and it ran up a tree, she lashed out and barely hooked it. She delt a quick blow to its head and burred it. She ran though the trees seeing an addler, she thought it was a racer and jumped at it it bit her and she fell over.

After that, Sorrelpaw had a better hunting. She sneaked up on a rabbit and with a swift blow to the neck killed it. Then she scented mouse and went after it. She pounced on it as soon as it came into sight and landed square on top of it and killed it before it knew she was even there. She was able to do the same with two more mice and a squirrel and she burried them all together in a neat pile before heading on.

He spat in worry and anger, sprinting to her side. He hadn't seen what she was hunting until it was too late. The adder lashed out at him as well; he lunged and caught its entire head in his mouth, fangs digging through the snake's neck. He ignored the pain of a bite on his chin and dropped the head. He turned and grabbed her scruff, giving her a sharp shake and snarling, "Stay awake!" He went racing away, holding her as high off the ground as he could, though she dragged. He stopped suddenly and released her, snagging snakeroot and crushing it before dropping it in front of her. "Eat," he commanded, getting more of the snakeroot to rub into the bite, chewing it up then pressing it into the slowly swelling wound. He added nettle leaves to his quick poulstice, then gave her dandelion leaves to eat in order to keep her calm. Good thing I had the medicine cat teach me how to treat adder bites!

Sparrowpaw tryed hard to stay awake, her contoness drifting , she managed to stay awake, she ate the snakeroot. The bitter taste left an aftertastes in her mouth, she was unable to move, she went un conchiuis.

He hunched over with his ear against her chest, listening intently to her fluttering little heartbeat. It sounded too fast... Ah, there. It was slowing... He turned to look at the faintly swollen leg; he had one paw firmly pressed down on it to stop the circulation so that the venom couldn't spread through her body. Well, the only brightside to this would have to be that she'll probably start developing an immunity--or at least pay attention more!
"Fox dung!" he spat, pressing his ear to her chest again. "Why didn't I teach her the different between an addler and a racer!? Why didn't I think to point out that racer's are black!" He hissed angrily and began to roughly clean her face, hoping to wake her up. On second thought... He turned to her swollen leg and gingerly bit it, using one fang to 'pop' the skin. Blood and platelets oozed out, but, to his relief, the swelling was starting to fade. He kept his paw on the artery until the swelling was completely gone. That'll only leave enough venom in for her body to fight back and, maybe, start developing immunities.
He turned back to cleaning her face, continuing to try and wake her.

Sparrowpaw slowly openend her green eyes, to awake to, her love Wingfang looming over her. "Wha-t, what is going on?" she stammered, still in a daze.

He purred happily and licked her forehead vehementally for a moment longer before sitting back on his haunches to give her a stern look. "It would seem that it is time to collect your kills and head home. You were bit by an adder--" and so was he, but he seemed ignorant of the fact that his cheek was swelling-- "but you should be fine, so long as you take it easy for a bit. Here's one important fact to remember; racers are black. Adders are a mottled brown. Got it? Good--let's go." He rose elegantly, but waited for her to get up as well instead of just padding off like he normally would.

She nodded and meowed, "Thank you for helping me." she turned to him and saw his cheek, "Are you ok?" she asked urgently looking at is cheek, she licked it, and purred.

"Hmm?" Wingfang peered at her in confusion then, realizing what she was talking about, he flicked his tail, rumbling out a laugh. "I'm fine," he purred. "I've had bites far worse than this one. It'll be gone in no time."

"Alright." she purred kindly, she unburried her kills and held them in her mouth.

He padded towards the clan camp, tail waving in the air as he briskly trotted away. He was, however, careful to keep an eye--and ear--on her; just in case. "How's your leg feel?" he meowed.
