I got this urge to write a story, so here's the first chapter of it.
The Grave
A small figure sat on a large rock watching the sunset. Orange and red light radiated as the sun slid behind the hills. The small figure turned around to reveal a brown haired girl with piercing green eyes. She seemed to flow rather then walk as she went toward a wooded area to the east. The trees seemed to swallow her petite figure in a few seconds. All was quiet as the last bit of light disappeared, leaving only darkness. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The bright sun rose up to brighten the land again. A young boy sat on the large rock. This boy was much larger than the girl from the previous night. His hair was pitch black and his eyes were the color of the sea. He faced the bright sun, not seeming to be fazed by the bright light. His pale lips seemed to form a word, but no sound escaped them. Shadows grew larger as the sun slowly made its way up the sky. The boy then stood up and walked into the forest, just as the girl before him.
In another part of the land, the petite green eyed girl watched the sunrise just as the blue eyed boy did. Her brown hair blew slightly as a morning breeze passed by. Tears can from the green eyes of the girl to land on a small mound of earth. Flowers were placed on the mound and a headstone that said “Tania Pigeon 1964-2008 ‘We shall always remember our love’” identified the grave. The girl then bent down to place a silver ring on the mound beside the flowers. The ring held a small emerald and glittered in the morning sun. The girl got up, brushed off her skirt, and walked toward the woods.
The blue eyed boy walked up to the girl. “Morning,” he said in a light voice as he stepped closer.
The girl swallowed her tears and looked at the boy. “It’s beautiful today, isn’t it, Jacob?” she asked, “Perfect for visiting mother Tania.”
Jacob nodded with a slight smile. “Yes, it is a perfect day to visit Tania,” he agreed, “Why don’t you stay with me and talk with her for a while, Alena?”
He then walked over to the grave where Alena had just been. Alena followed him and sat down, patting the ground to tell him to sit with her. Jacob nodded and sat beside her, now looking at the headstone. He lifted his hand to trace the worn down words with his finger, reading along as he went. Alena followed his hand with her eyes, trying to keep back tears. She lost as liquid crystals fell down her face. She made a slight whimpering sound as she spoke, “We shall always remember out love, mother.”
Jacob turned to look at her tear-streaked face. He took his finger off the headstone and moved it to Alena’s face to wipe her tears away. She nodded thanks as he took his hand away. “You needn’t cry,” he whispered, “Your mother would want you happy.”
Jacob got up and offered his hand to help Alena up. She obliged and took his hand, pulling herself up. She dusted herself off as he did the same. They then looked at each other before heading toward the trees. The sun shone bright at the top of the sky as the darkness of the trees surrounded the two.

Chapter 2 up!
The Truth Hurts
A stormy wind blew the fragile form of a small shack. The surrounding trees rattled as the winds picked up speed and the rain began to pour. Alena lay in her handmade bed in the small shack. Her green eyes darted around as the storm progressed. A small sound came from the door. Getting out of her bed, Alena walked over to the cracked window to see the blue eyes of Jacob. She walked over to the door, took a deep breath, and opened it. Jacob looked at her, blue eyes full of concern. “Alena, I know this is a bad time, but I need to talk to you,” he said firmly.
Alena nodded absentmindedly. “Come in,” she said, stepping out of his way.
Jacob nodded and walked inside the shack. Closing the door, Alena sat down on her bed and looked at Jacob. Jacob sighed and sat beside her. His mind raced with all that he had to do. He placed his hand on Alena’s shoulder and looked into her eyes. “Alena, I’m sorry,” he whispered, looking at the ground. Alena looked at him strangely. “What are you sorry about, Jacob?” she asked.
Jacob smiled slightly at her before reaching into his coat pocket. He took a switch-blade out and tears began to fall down his face. “I’m sorry for what I’m about to do,” he said.
Alena had an extremely frightened look on her face. She shook her head as her own tears streamed down her face. Without a word, she darted to the door, opened it, and ran into the storm outside. Jacob watched after her, frozen. He then shook his head clear and walked calmly out into the story, following Alena. “I’m sorry, Alena,” he said again as more tears dripped down his face.
Alena continued to run as the rain pounded down on her. She stopped to catch her breath and looked behind her. As lightning flashed, she saw that Jacob was not far behind her. Quickly, she started running again. After getting about two yards, she tripped over a tree root. Jacob came closer and closer, his switch-blade glittering in when lightning flashed through the sky. “Please, Jacob,” she whispered.
Jacob now stood over her, his blade raised and his tears dripping on Alena’s face. As he thrust his hand down, the blade coming closer to Alena, time seemed to slow down. Alena closed her eyes, awaiting the feeling of metal on her skin, but it never came. She opened her eyes slowly to see another person, a blond boy, standing over her. She turned to see Jacob on the ground, his blade feet away. The blond turned to her, hand out. She took it, pulling herself up. “What hap…” she was cut off by the blond’s voice.
“We must hurry,” he said, “He won’t be out for long.”
With that, the blond pulled Alena into the woods. Her eyes were glued on Jacob as they ran closer to the center of the forest.

Chapter 3 up!
Meeting Your New Family
The trees began to thin out as Alena ran through the woods with the blond who had saved her from her ex-friend, Jacob. She looked at the blond who was more or less dragging her along. He finally stopped, and Alena ran into him. “Watch it,” he hissed, turning to her.
Alena looked into his muddy brown eyes, and then turned away. “Sorry,” she whispered, “But where are we going?”
The blond sighed and shook his head. He pointed to a large building that was almost invisible even with its size. “That’s where we are going,” he said.
Alena nodded slightly, and she decided to not ask anything else for a while. The blond nodded back at her, and they headed toward the building. When inside, Alena was lead to a couch where she sat down. The blond boy then walked to a large door and disappeared into the other room. Alena sighed as she tried to sort out the many thoughts in her mind.
Just then a sound came from the room that the blond had went into. It sounded like plate or vase breaking on a hard floor. Alena jumped out of her seat, but before she could go anywhere, the blond boy came walking out, cursing about things being unfair. He then looked at Alena, his eyes like daggers. “Follow me,” he stated without much emotion.
Alena nodded shyly and followed him. He led her to a large room with eight chairs in a semi-circle pattern. All but three were occupied. The blond boy walked over to one of the empty seats and sat down. Almost at the same time, a large door at the back of the room opened as a man and a woman, probably in their early 40s and both blond, walked in. They both sat in the two remaining seats, and looked at Alena. “Hello, child,” said the man, “I am Jonathon, and this is my wife, Tiffany.”
Alena didn’t know what to do, so she just stood there, dumbfounded. Jonathon chuckled and the others in the semi-circle laughed along with him. When he and the others were finished, Jonathon coughed slightly as to get everyone’s attention. “I know you must have many questions and concerns,” he said, “So, Matt here will show you around and answer all your questions.”
The blond boy who had rescued Alena, Matt, looked like he was going to protest. Jonathan gave him a stern look, shutting him up. Matt got up and walked toward Alena, grumbling the whole time. Jonathan glared at Matt. “You better get used to it, Matt,” he said sternly, “After all, she will be living with us for a while.”
Alena looked up at Jonathan, surprised. “Living here?” she asked, ” Why? For how long?”
She had so many questions, but Jonathan spoke to her quietly. “All questions will be answered soon enough,” he said and everyone left, leaving Alena alone with Matt.

Chapter 4! Yay!
Surprise!
Alena followed Matt down long corridors and halls. They finally stopped in front of a purple door with a sign that read, ‘Guest Room’. Matt opened the door to view an off-white room with one bed and a desk. Alena timidly walked in a sat on the bed. Matt stood in front of her. “First off,” he said in a harsh tone, “I want your name.”
Alena was shocked with his tone of voice but decided to oblige and tell him her name. “My name is Alena,” she said quietly, “And you are Matt, right?”
Matt nodded his head, and turned to the door. A young girl, about the same age of Alena, stepped into the room. Her pitch black hair was in pigtails, and her blue eyes pierced through Alena’s soul. She could pass as Jacob’s sister, Alena winced as she thought of Jacob. The memory of his unconscious body flashed in her mind, and she tried to keep back tears. Matt then spoke, dragging Alena from her thoughts. “What do you want, Janeen?” he grumbled, glaring at the girl.
Janeen sigh at him, closing her eyes and shaking her head slightly. “Matt, I was told to make sure you were doing your job,” she said then smirked at him, “And by what I see, you’re not doing it correctly.”
Matt’s glare grew harder, and he grumbled inaudible complaints. He stalked closer to Janeen, his eyes seeming to make her flinch slightly. “I am doing my job correctly,” he hissed at her, “You are just blind to it.”
Janeen sighed again, but said nothing. Her eyes said a silent goodbye, and she exited the room. Matt sighed and turned back to Alena. “Come on,” he said, walking back into the hall. Alena followed, and the two walked back down the hall. Every so often he would point things out to her, such as the dining hall, bathrooms, and other important places.
They now approached the front door of the building. “Now that you have seen everything you need to see, there is one main rule here,” he said, looking at her suspiciously, “That rule is that you never leave the building without permission.”
Then a loud bang sounded through the whole building. The door was flung open, and Matt stepped forward. Many people came running through the door, screaming many things that sounded like war chants. Alena dropped to the floor, covering her head as feet thundered around her. “They’re attacking,” yelled Matt’s voice.
Alena was then picked up by Matt as everything went black. She was unconscious.

Chapter 5
Dreams
Alena opened her eyes to see Jacob’s smiling face. His eyes looked caring, and they almost made her forget about his attempted murder. She smiled back at him and tried to get. She grunted as she realized that she couldn’t move. She pushed against the invisible restraints, but it was no use. She was immobile. Jacob’s caring smile seemed to transform into an evil smile before her eyes. His eyes darkened, and a laugh escaped his throat.
Alena tried to scream, but she realized she couldn’t speak either. Please, Jacob, don’t, she prayed in her mind. Jacob didn’t seem to hear her as he reached into his pocket to reveal his switch-blade. The lifted it and it seemed to grow. He became longer and sharper. After a few seconds, the switch-blade became a sword. Alena stared in horror as Jacob laughed yet again. “Any last words?” he asked her.
Alena shut her eyes tightly as she awaited the pain of the sword. It never came. De Javu, she thought. This time when she opened her eyes, though, Jacob was gone, and Matt was not standing over her.
This time, her mother, Tania, was in front of her, a smile spread across her face. She was almost identical to Alena with her brown hair and green eyes. The only difference was the age. You could automatically see that Tania was much older than Alena. “Alena, dear,” Tania said in a voice as sweet as honey.
Alena was in shock. Is that really Mother? It can’t be; she’s dead. But she looks so much like her, Alena fought with herself over if her mother was really in front of her. She finally decided to believe she was back. She tried to walk forward, but she again found she was unable to move. Alena gave up on moving toward her mother, and, as if to reward her for not moving, her mother got up and walked toward her. Tania placed her hands on Alena’s shoulders and began to shake her. “Alena, Alena!” she yelled, “Alena!”
Alena wanted to speak, but she couldn’t. The voice then seemed to change from her mother’s to a more male-like tone. Soon enough, Alena recognized Matt’s voice. Her mother changed to look like Matt. “Alena,” Matt said, shaking her.
Alena looked up at him. “Matt,” she said, “What’s happening?”

Chapter 6!
Running to the Enemy
Matt looked at Alena intently. “Alena, we have to leave,” he said, “Now!”
Alena stared at him, her heart skipping beats. What was going on? Why were they leaving when they just got there? She didn’t have time to ask these questions, because Matt yanked her off of the bed and toward the door. He seemed rush, and as they ran down the hallway, Alena saw why.
There were injured people everywhere and of every age, from two year old to people who seemed to be near a hundred. Alena stared at them in horror as they came closer to a door. Matt was now tugging on her harder as they got closer. Bursting out the door, Matt continued to run. “We’re not in the clear yet,” he said so quietly, it was hard to hear what he said.
Alena’s wrist was now hurting badly, and her eyes were starting to glaze over with exhaustion. Then soon came to a small clearing in the woods, and Matt let go of her. Rubbing her now red wrist, Alena looked at Matt questionably. “Matt, what are we going to do?” she asked, “We can’t go back, can we?”
Matt looked at the ground and shook his head. “No, Alena, we can’t,” he said, “We must stay in hiding until we get the okay.”
Alena nodded and sat on the ground. Placing her head in her hands, she thought over what had happened. She was being given a tour of her ‘new home’, as they had called it, when the people attacked. She had no idea who they were or what they wanted. She also didn’t know what she was to do now that she had nowhere to live.
Matt sat down beside her, his eyes caring as he patted her back. “It’ll be alright, Alena,” he whispered, “We’ll make it out of this.”
“Are you sure about that?” asked a voice from the shadows.
Matt quickly stood up and whipped his head around, trying to locate the sound. “Who’s there?” he asked.
A black haired, blue eyed figure stepped out of the shadows not far in front of Matt. It was Jacob, and he looked mad. Alena looked up from her hands to stare into Jacob’s hate filled eyes. She tried to hold back tears that threatened to erupt from her eyes. She stood up and started toward her old friend. Matt reached out to her, holding her back. “Alena, don’t,” he begged her.
Jacob snickered at Matt. “What? You don’t want you’re princess to get hurt?” he asked with a smirk, “You’ve already hurt her, so what’s it matter?”
Matt growled at him, his eyes burning with rage. Alena shook her head, trying to think straight. She then turned back to Matt. “Let me go, Matt,” she said, “He can’t do anything worse than what he’s already done.”
Matt looked at her for a second, then let go of her. Alena smiled at him, and then turned to Jacob. Her eyes burned with the rage he had created. “Jacob, you- you’re unbelievable!” she yelled tears streaming down her face, “You’re nothing but a pile of shit and a son of a bitch!”
She then stormed up to him, her tears-filled eyes glaring at him, and slapped him across the face, leaving a large red hand-shaped print on his cheek. Jacob looked at her with a smile. “That’s more like it,” he said with a chuckle.

Chapter 7!
Captured
Jacob’s smile and laugh made Alena’s stomach do flips. She felt sick, but she also couldn’t move. Not the way where she wasn’t able to move, but where her legs wouldn’t obey her mind. Jacob continued to laugh, and Alena’s anger grew. “YOU BASTARD!” she yelled at him before slapping him again.
Jacob looked at her, hurt in his eyes. “What was that for?” he whimpered, “I didn’t do anything….. yet.”
Matt stared at the two in horror. He hadn’t seen Alena this angered, but he hadn’t seen a lot of what she could do. He stepped back slowly, only to trip over a tree root. He landed on his behind. Jacob saw this and took the advantage. He grabbed Alena, flung her over his shoulder, and ran into the woods. “Let me go!” Alena yelled at him.
Jacob only laughed as he continued to carry her into the woods. Alena was now kicking and screaming, trying to get away. Then out of nowhere two more boys came out of the woods, the same looks on their faces as Jacob had on his. One had red-orange hair and stormy grey eyes. He smiled at Alena as if he was a friend of hers. The other had reddish brown hair. His dark brown eyes seemed to be full of secrets that only he knew.
Jacob turned to the brown eyed one. “Rick,” he said, “Go tell Hunter we got her.”
Rick nodded and darted off. That left only the red head. Jacob then turned to him. “Alex,” he said, “You’ll stay with us and keep a look out for the others.”
Alex nodded and his stormy grey eyes began to flicker around. They seemed to see everything, and Alena felt a shiver run up her spine when he looked at her. Jacob chuckled yet again as Alena struggled to get away. Her strength was ebbing away, and she was giving up hope.
Then a large building rose above the tree line. It was blood red, and the three ran up to the door which was guarded by two burly men. They both stared at her as the group entered the building. As they entered a dungeon like room, Jacob placed Alena down. She fell to the ground, her knees buckling under her weight. Jacob laughed and then exited the room, locking the door behind him.
Alena cried as she sat on the cold, hard floor. Her tears seemed to freeze on her face from the chill in the room. Hugging herself tightly, Alena fell asleep.

Chapter 8!
Hospitality
Alena awoke to the sound of keys opening a lock. The door to her dungeon room was opened, and a person, who Alena remembered to be Rick, walked inside. He walked over to her and knelt beside her. “Are you okay?” he asked almost emotionlessly.
Alena snorted a response and turned away from him. Her eyes threw daggers at the floor, where Jacob’s invisible picture lay. Rick sighed at her and walked back to the door. He grabbed a tray of food and walked back over to Alena. “Here,” he said, laying the food in front of her.
Alena turned to the food, then to him. Her eyes showed confusion and anger. “What? You’re actually feeding me?” she hissed at him, “I’d have thought you would starve me.”
Rick placed his hand on her shoulder and lent in to her ear. “I’ve got a secret for you,” he whispered, “If it weren’t for me, you would have been starved.”
With that, he stood up and walked out, locking the door behind him. Alena watched after him. What’s that supposed to mean? she asked herself. Without an answer, she turned back to the tray of food. On it sat a cheese burger and a few fries. Alena’s eyes flew wide as she realized how hungry she was. She slowly picked up the burger and warily took a bite. It tasted good, so she quickly ate the rest.
After eating, Alena let out a contented sigh. She rubbed her full stomach and lay down. She was soon asleep again, dreaming of a buffet.
When she awoke this time, all was quiet. The tray from her food was gone, and she then noticed she had a blanket drawn over her. There was also a note by her side. She slowly grabbed it and opened it. It read:
“Dear Alena,
I saw you were sleeping, so I didn’t want to disturb you. You’ve probably noticed by now that I gave you a blanket and took the tray from you room. I also want to tell you that I am sorry for what is going to happen to you here. I cannot tell you what that is, but I will tell you it is very bad.
I’m so sorry,
Rick”
Alena closer the note and looked the door to her room. She had no idea why this Rick boy was being so nice to her. She did feel happy that someone in this forsaken place would help her in some way. Then she remembered the warning he had given her. There were bad things in her future, and if she didn’t get out soon, who knew what these people would do to her.

Chapter 9
A Penalty and a Punishment
Alena was being led down a long hallway. There was no light and it was impossible to see anything. Alena’s heart felt like it was about to break out of her chest, and her spine seemed to freeze from the chill in the air. She was being pulled through the darkness by Rick, and Alex was behind her, bringing up the rear.
Alena gasped as Rick opened a door, and bright light flooded the hallway. Her eyes had to adjust quickly as she was pulled into a large room. There was only one person in the room other then the newly arrived three, and that was Jacob. Alena hissed under her breath as she saw Jacob’s smile. He looked even more evil and disgusting than usual. “Hello, beautiful,” he said, walking over to her.
Alena tried to walk away from him, but Alex was in her way. She caught her arms and held her in place. Looking up at him, Alena saw that he didn’t want to be doing this. She then turned to see Jacob coming closer to her, eyes shining. “Now, now, Alena,” he laughed, “Don’t be scared.”
Alena glared at him. “I hate you, and you expect me not to be scared,” she hissed at him, trying to get her hands free.
Jacob smiled at her. “You’re going to get a penalty if you aren’t careful,” he said, inching closer to her.
Alena growled at him. “Leave me alone, BASTARD!” she yelled at him.
Jacob’s eyes grew stern, and his face was now centimeter’s from Alena’s. “That foul language gets you a penalty, and with a penalty comes punishment,” he said before leaning to kiss Alena forcefully.
Alena was shocked. This wasn’t the punishment she thought was coming. Thinking quickly, she bit Jacob’s lick hard. Jacob staggered back, putting a finger to his lip. Alena had brought blood, and as she saw the shocked look on Jacob’s face, she burst out laughing. “That… face,” she said between laughs.
Jacob growled at her. “That was uncalled for,” he said.
Alena quickly snapped out of her laughing fit. She was in trouble now. Jacob now looked at Alex, who was still holding her. “Take her back,” he hissed.
Alex complied, pulling Alena away. After they were out of earshot, Alex stopped and let out a sigh. Alena turned her head to look at him. “What’s wrong?” she asked.
Alex smiled at her. “Nothing,” he said, “But you better get used to this.”
With that, they continued back down the hall, and Alena was soon back in her room.
