Okay, so I wrote this when I was angery. I wanted to do what Kimiko does in the end to the person I'm mad at. Nothing else about has anything to do with me.
“Today, we shall go to the zoo,” a voice from a loudspeaker said. In front of the man who had just spoken were a group of about ten kids around middle school age.
“Um…Mister?” said one of the older children shyly. The man looked at the child, his unusual gold eyes shining.
“Yes, Kimiko?” he asked the young girl, who was now staring at the ground.
Kimiko looked up, her face slightly red. “I was just wondering why you would be telling us what to do and not the person who is in charge,” she asked.
The golden eyed man growled at Kimiko. “Because I can,” he said angrily. His face was tight with anger.
Kimiko shrunk back as the man seemed to grow larger in front of her eyes. Turning around, she ran behind her best friend, Hannah, her eyes full with tears. The man then looked at the rest of the group.
“Are there any more question?” he asked with a look that said ‘ask and you die.’
None of the kids spoke, so the man waved his hand to dismiss the children and got on the bus which would take them to the zoo. The others followed suit.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A yellow bus pulled up to the zoo parking lot. When it came to a stop, a man with golden eyes walked out, followed by many children. Kimiko was as far away from the golden eyed man as possible. They came up to a fence and a woman greeted them.
“Welcome, Ryou Shirogane,” said the woman.
Kimiko made a mental note of the golden eyed man’s name. Ryou she thought, A Japanese name.
Ryou then walked through the gate and the children followed. As they went, Kimiko saw Ryou yell at many of the children even when they didn’t do anything wrong. Anger grew in Kimiko’s heart, but she ignored it for now. She just followed.
They were by the lion exhibit now. Ryou was walking up to Kimiko and her friend, Hannah, now. Ryou was yelling at them, but Kimiko couldn’t make out the words. The blood was rushing to her ears, blocking any and all sound. Then, Ryou did the worst think that day, he hit Hannah. He was not yelling insults at the girl. Kimiko glared at Ryou as her anger took hold of her. She stood in-between Hannah and Ryou.
“Leave her and everyone else alone!” she yelled at him. Ryou just laughed.
“You think you can do anything about it, little girl,” he said, coming closer to her, his hand ready to slap her.
Right at the moment that Ryou hand should’ve connected with Kimiko’s face, Kimiko punched Ryou in the nose. Ryou staggered backwards, eyes burning with anger.
“You…you hit me,” he hissed. The lions in the pin were now looking at the two, as were the other children.
Kimiko then grinned and somehow picked up the much larger man. She held him in the air, her grin growing.
“This is what you get for being a meany,” she yelled before tossing him into the lions’ pin.
As the lions surrounded Ryou, Kimiko smiled at the other children.
“Let’s to home,” she said and walked out of the zoo.
